Cedar Springs Quilt in Juniper

Have you ever seen a quilt and a fabric collection that were just made for each other?

That is how I felt when I first saw the Juniper Collection from Sharon Holland for Art Gallery Fabrics!!

I was finishing up the final touches on this pattern when the call came for submission for the Lookbook and when I saw the fabric, I knew I had to submit this quilt! And thankfully Art Gallery Fabrics loved it just as much. Honestly, a huge thankyou to everyone, because it has been a major hit.

Talking with Sharon after the LookBook release, we both had similar inspiration behind our designs. I prefer very natural and traditional Christmas decor. I have explored the woods many times looking for the perfect little cedar tree to cut down and decorate. We even took my son for the first time this year and he just loved it. Many years, I will go “scavenging” and cut different natural elements to use in wreaths and garlands. Aside from cedar trees, another favorite is holly with red berries! I think the pattern shows those elements, while throwing a star in the mix, which stars are my favorite quilt block element.

I hope you enjoy this quilt as much as I do, and I know the fabric collection is going to be a big hit! I have already made a few projects with it!!
