Kate Pillow

Who doesn’t love a good throw pillow??? They can make a couch super cozy, give a bed that extra polish, or give a chair/bench that extra decorative touch!!

Pillows are so much fun to make. And they are a quick project!! Who doesn’t like a quick project to make us feel accomplished?!?

There are so many options….you can use a specific pattern, throw some scraps together, or even use up some extra orphaned quilt blocks. Also, pillows are a super fun way to practice some fun hand quilting, or practice your free motion quilting. Pillows don’t require a lot of quilting, so the possibilities are endless.

Featuring:

AGF Indie Folk - Meadow Vivid & coordinating AGF Pure Solids.

The Kate pillow is a large 20 inch pillow made from a traditional block. It consists totally of half-square triangles and uses three fabrics. I wanted to write up this fun project and share it with all my subscribers for free as a thank you for being on this journey with me. I am so thankful for all the support!!

I would love to see what you do with you Kate pillow to compliment your individual style. Share your creations in the comments below or on social media with the tag #katepillow and #marthajanepatterns. Happy sewing!!
